Open Water Diver - PART 1 - UI Scuba Club

Classroom:  TBD -   Pool - Iowa City Robert Lee Rec. Center Downtown - For University of Iowa Scuba Club Members Only - PADI Open Water Diver Course Part 1.  Held  Iowa City.  You will be required to be a registered member of the UI Scuba Club to attend this course unless cleared by Seatasea ahead of time. Contact sales@seatasea.com.  If you are not a member or not going to become a member you must register as a non-member.  To become a member go to www.iowascuba.org  

Upon registration you will need to pick up your training materials or have them mailed to you.  Please allow at least 1 - 2 weeks to study these materials.  Please select whether you want the materials shipped to you or if you want to pick them up at the store during check-out.  Complete directions on what you need to study and accomplish prior to the course is in the package and you can always give us a hollar! 

Note:  To enter multiple students, you need to enter the information for 1, then add to card and then enter the information for the second person.  Then add to cart!

Scuba Review/Refresher - UI Scuba Club - Nov 15

November 7, 2010 or February 6, 2011 - 8am - 12pm Robert A. Lee Rec Center, Iowa City.  For UI Scuba Club Members Only. Been a while since you dove last?  Need a tune-up!  This refresher is for you!  Any Open Water Diver Certification or greater from any recognized diver training agency is welcome.  Includes all equipment.

Meet at the Downtown IC Rec Center at 8am on the day of the course  Please bring your C-Card and logbook  with you.  (We cannot take you into the course without seeing your Certification Card)  After completion we will be placing a completion decal on your C-card and also sign-off your log book.  You must be a UI Scuba Club Member to attend this course.   Any Open Water Scuba Certification from any worldwide recongnized scuba training agency is welcome.

If you have not trained with us before we will be mailing you a student record file to complete.  You will also need to complete and bring with you a filled out copy of the PADI Continuing Education Administrative Document.  You can down load it here - http://www.seatasea.com/PADI%20Continuing%20Education%20Document.pdf  IMPORTANT:  If you have a YES in any of the box's on the medical information portion you will need a signed release from a physician on the PADI Medical Information and Physicians Approval Form - http://www.seatasea.com/Forms/PADIMedicalForm.pdf

PADI "PIC" Certification Form (UI Scuba Club)

This is the PADI form you need for your referral certification if you are on a trip and are going to do your 4 certification dives.  Postage is included from us to you to mail it.  Please make sure you use a mailing address that you will be able to get it prior to the trip.

Open Water Diver - PART 2

Part 2 is the Open Water Diver Certification Dives!  (This is the Part where we "really" get to go diving!  We normally hold this at Haigh Quarry, Kanakee, IL (unless noted) at least once a month from May - Sept 30.  Part 2 costs $195 + tax and includes all equipment, instruction, and certification fees.  (Does not include travel expenses or lodging on the Sat night or park entrance fees of $20 per diver per day at Haigh Quarry)  (If a course is marked FULL - Contact us for the waiting list or other options as we may be adding dates!)
